Health Screenings

Pacific Free Clinic offers testing for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, and hepatitis B to all patients--even if they do not require a full appointment.

Insurance Referrals

Pacific Free Clinic provides referrals to insurance application assistants.

Interpretation Services

Pacific Free Clinic offers interpretation services in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Mandarin Chinese.

Women's Clinic

PFC offers patients free monthly gynecologic care, including pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.

Dental Clinic

PFC offers dental screening for common dental concerns.

Hepatitis B Clinic

PFC offers hepatitis B screening, education, low-cost vaccinations, follow-up care, and treatment to patients in partnership with the Asian Liver Center and Stanford Hospitals and Clinics. A diagnostic liver ultrasound clinic will also be available to patients starting in September.

Ultrasound Clinic

PFC offers general nondiagnostic ultrasound screening as a clinical practicum site for Stanford School of Medicine's Bedside Ultrasound course every week at clinic.

Ophthalmology Clinic

PFC offers free, monthly eye screenings, addressing eye problems such as those associated with diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal damage, sudden changes in vision, injury, eye infection, etc.

Optometry (eyeglasses)

We encourage those seeking corrective lenses to visit local optometrists, although PFC does offer reading glasses to patients in partnership with Unite for Sight.

Social services

PFC offers social services to patients through an on-site licensed social worker, who also serves as the supervisor of two social work interns from San Jose State's Masters of Social Work Program. Services offered to patients will include local referrals to resources regarding: employment, education, childcare/after-school programs, legal services, medical insurance, substance abuse support groups, support services for the elderly, housing, transportation, and psychosocial needs and assessments.
