Pacific Free Clinic

Volunteering @ PFC

How You Can Help

You don't have to have an MD to volunteer (although it wouldn't hurt!). We're looking for physicians, medical students, and undergraduates who are interested in an incredible medical and community experience. You must be affiliated with Stanford (as a student, faculty, or staff member) to volunteer at Pacific Free Clinic.

Becoming a PFC Volunteer

Still want to help make free health care for the underserved a reality? Here are the details to get involved as a volunteer!

Medical and PA Students
If you are a Stanford medical student volunteering at PFC for the first time, sign up under “Pre-Clinical Volunteer” on the website. The manager for the week that you sign up will contact you with additional training information.
If you are a Stanford PA student, please contact your PFC coordinator regarding shift scheduling and additional training information.

Stanford Undergraduates, Graduate Students, and Staff
Available positions for Stanford undergraduates, graduate students, and staff at clinic are:

  • Front Desk
  • Interpreter (Vietnamese, Mandarin, Spanish)
  • Referrals
  • Health Education
  • Lab Assistant
We have two application cycles each year: fall quarter and spring quarter. Additional information regarding applications, requirements, and training are provided at that time. If you are interested in volunteering at PFC, please fill out this form and we will provide you with application information at the next earliest cycle. If you have additional questions, please contact us at volunteer.pfc@gmail.com.
